Ironbridge 2 / 3 slalom 25 & 26 June 2011

A very good turn out for a welcome return to Ironbridge slalom following completing of the land stabilisation works. With around 80 paddlers for a drizzly Saturday and a 100 for a sunny Sunday, as a Jury member I can say that it was an excellent well run event and I hope it returns again next year.

The heavens opened over Friday night. Saturday was drizzly with a dropping river level. Sunday was sunny with a rapidly rising river as Friday nights rain worked it's way down from higher up the catchment. By way of an example, during the Div 2 K1M first runs the river rose 5".

I've split the photos into Saturday and Sunday and the various classes - a total of 12 albums to make your viewing easier. Each album is in the order on the day.

Whilst all digital images from the photo galleries will be sold without copyright water marking, copyright remains with Geoff Allen.  Images are sold on the basis that they will only be used for personal and family use.

No commercial or competition use is permitted unless a commercial licence has been granted by Geoff Allen in writing.
